i saw some special earlier this year where auckland to lax was $899 plus taxes.

on the car 12 hours to and from Queensland! with one break!
on a plane...7 hours 50 mins from Sydney to the Philippines!
and on a bus...its not long but it takes around 45 mins to get home from uni...and then i have to take another bus which takes 15 mins....but this happens everyday!
