I've stated how I feel about PETA too many times. So, in summary:

There's a difference between the ability to feel emotions and the ability to form logical trains of thought.

Everyone here has already forgotten the video about the seals being skinned alive? That is the sort of stuff that PETA is trying to stop and if it has a weird way of going about it so that you would stop and pay attention...so be it. I'm all for it and I support them fully.

I'm all for [humane treatment of animals] and I support [those who support that] fully.

PETA, however, are just a bunch of idiots. I rather like a "human-oriented" world.

I don't see where PETA is any worse than obsessive religious groups, but yet no one will shutup about "OMG PETA IS INSANE AND DUMB FOR DEFENDING TEH ANIMALZ RIGHTS LOLZ!11" but I don't hear anyone griping about say, the Westborough Baptist Church nearly as much.

By obsessive religious groups, do you mean cults and people who have sacrifices for their gods/deities?

For the record, we've known that the Baptists have been crazy for years. PETA is newer.
