My acquaintance you may have gotten
from the darkness, where I dwell
Although I may be gone and forgotten,
I know Father Time quite well
My former master hides in thin air,
his being you may have missed
to find him you may have to be aware
that he really does exist.

Now, when you've seen me, you may find
that you have seen me before
But only when you look behind
you'll find who I'm really made for
For although I have a close relative here,
a friend of yours, well and alive,
my own life span, it ended, I fear,
in Final Fantasy five.

So who am I, my playing friend?
Am I kin of men or mice?
