It's not Kuja or the event in Cleyra
for a hint concentrate on the first and last two lines, as for the middle verse theres a key word in it that'll give you a bigger clue to the answer.

i think it has something to do with the black mages and their lifespan which is limited and that kuja seizes them by saying he could make it longer and the north south east.. is probably when trying to find their village....

Good try but not quite its nothing to do with the black mages. The compass points don't refer to the world map but its something to focus on. Think where else you might use them. I'll give a bigger hint if no one gets it in a few more posts.

i really do suck at this game. yes your right. why cause most are his lines while grand cross is one of his attacks. your turn
Necron is a bit of an obvious character
to riddle about. If you've played FF IX to the
end you know that you had to face (SPOILER)the end itself.
Also words like "purpose" gives alot of indication on what
kind of person we're talking about. Leaving only a select few
left (Garland, Necron, Kuja perhaps).
Don't bother I suck too we'll get better.
