No, well, in seriousness; mostly I agree with you entirely on this, the vast majority is vapid and jejune. Sometimes though you get good tracks or even good artists (Funeral for a Friend, for example.). At any rate, my point is that a few of us crotcherty old folks who know the truth simply can't override the prevailing ideas of what things are, especially when in something as ambiguous as this, where there really only is popular opinion of how things should be defined.

I'm sure we'd all be a LOT happier about that if it was decided by people who knew something about the genres they're talking about, of course.
