Holes in busty sword

Ive heard that the 2 holes in the BUSTER SWORD are ment to be the matiria slots , it would make sence as the sword can equip 2 SLOTS that are not joined,
Is this ment to be so, im not sure, but there is not holes in anyone elses weapon... WHY DO YOU TAUNT ME !

Yes, they're materia slots. You can also see materia inserted in Tifa's glove, Aeris's rod, Red XIII's hair, Yuffie's shuriken, Cait Sith's megaphone, and Cid's spear.

yeah i saw how the first weapons had the holes for materia slots, but anyway the whole question was rather self explanatory and rather pointless, use common sense net time, but also think on this....how does Cloud keep his sword on his back?

if all of the primqry weapons have materia slots where are they on each weapon.o know about the buster sword but what avout the rest?
