Not with Aeris and Galuf. It was much sader when Galuf dies because he had family to witness it. Remember Cara's reaction......*sniff* .Aeris had no family left. Not to mention Sephiroths speech straight after then the Jenova fight changing the mood completely. Plus it was a bigger shock when Galuf died than when Aeris did. Only one word for it.
