A lot of people consider you not to be a newbie after eight months, because then you can have a beuatiful custom user title, as shown above many an avatar, but a lot of people who have been here a long time consider you to be an oldbie after years here, so really, it depends more on how you fit in, as many people here who haven't been here very long are considered oldbies!
