Thread: CoM Card question

    Default CoM Card question

If this is in another post, my bad. I looked and couldn't find anything.

If I am getting this right, when you do a sleight, you loose a card? Is it always the best card in the slight, or just the first card in it? do you have to use a green card of some sort to get them back?

Also, do you have to get a "premium" map card to premium your cards?

Lastly (I know I'm full of questions today), when do you start getting cards higher than 9? I am at the last board of the first world deck. Do I have to wait for later to get them?
I'm not in this world to live up to your expectations and you're not in this world to live up to mine.

    1. You always lose the first card. If you want them back, you have to use an item card that gives all of a certain card back, not just the reloadable one. Like a Potion gives you the reloadable attack cards, but a Hi-Potion gives you all of your attack cards.

    2. No, you can also get premium cards at a Moogle Shop.

    3. You don't. If you want an attack to be higher than 9 you must use a sleight.

A note on Premium Cards: You have a chance of getting a Premium Bonus in any room. The chance is greatly increased in a Premium Room, but it exists elsewhere. The easiest ways to get Premium Bonuses, though, are White Rooms (which you probably don't have map cards for yet, karatehero). As long as you face a group of two White Mushrooms, you can help one, grab the bonus, and run, leaving them available to fight again. It blows the "Premium Barrel Room" strategy away.

My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.

He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.

    Thanks for the help!

What about some of the higher end sleights though? I thought some of them needed values higher than 30. Doesn't Ars Archium (spelling ) take like 47 or something?

If it says "4-7", that is not 47, it is any value between 4 and 7, inclusive. 4, 5, 6, or 7 will work for such a sleight (although there is no sleight with that set of values).

    Attack Sleights:
Sliding Dash: Three attack cards of the same type: value=10-15
Blitz: Three attack cards of differing types: value=10-15
Stun Impact: Three attack cards of the same type: value=20-23
Zantetsuken: Three attack cards of any type: value=0 or 27
Strike Raid: Three attack cards of any type: value=24-26
Sonic Blade: Three attack cards of differing types: value=20-23
Ars Arcanum: Three attack cards of any type: value=1-6
Ragnarok: Three attack cards of any type: value=7-9
Trinity Limit: Any attack card, Donald, and Goofy

Oh, well that makes sense. I think I read an FAQ somewhere that didn't really explain it so well.

Thanks for all your help everyone! I really appreciate it.

Is there a thread started for card combos and lineups? That might be fun to compare strategies.
