Yeah, this was Mitsuda's first break, so he worked himself into a stomach ulcer. Uematsu offered to help, and immediately he was billed as part of the "Dream Team" and given higher credit.

Zeals Overworld theme, Zeal rocks.
"NPC: Sorry this house is sealed off because of Blight"
I like CT's music as thus far I think an "8" out of 10 is a right place for it at the moment. My opinion for my current eyes, wich may see a replacement soon, think that Final Fantasy VI's music was better. Just listen to the battle theme. You'll be hooked...
Chrono Trigger has one of the best game soundtracks ever. So why complain when it is us...the gamers...who really win?
The Guardia Forest music was always my fav, I loved the bass and synth in it.
I love the song of the world map and 600 A.D
Girls rock, ya?

I love the music on the southern contenent in 1000 a.d. It has a very beautiful melody. The forest music is also soothing and well arranged. Magus' theme is brilliant. The music is a big part of this game- it helps to inspire certain moods that 16-bit graphics may have trouble with. It is undoubtedly the reason why I enjoyed this game so much when I was young and why I still love it today.
So far I still prefer FF Vi's music, but I might change my minde later on.
I haven't checked out Chrono Cross, but Chrono Trigger and Xenogears soundtracks were completely Ace. I love Yasunori
Hmm. I like Chrono Trigger's Soundtrack.
My favorite piece is "To Far Away Times"
