How long did it take you...

...to beat the game your first time? Second? Last time? Just curious.

around 110 or 120 hours, which includes aquiring all GFs, and getting everyone to level 100.

First time I played thruogh I couldn't beat it, and I really don't remember how long it took me before I realized I had to start over. Right beore fighting Adel.

Second time, I finished at, like...75 hours or something. I don't really like doing everything there is to do in a game.

32 hours the first time through, 39 hours the second time with a lot of card playing and doing the worthwhile sidequests.

First time .. about 80 ... I did about 3/4 of the side quests, my parties levels were between 92-95... and I did spend a few hours playing cards.....

Second Game- 56 hours.
Third Game- 23 hours...I own FFVIII.

first game i didnt complete but 40hrs second i think was 50+(i got all GFs apart from doomtrain and ultimate weapons and limits breaks for sqall rinoa and zell.).

First time like 80 hours (leaving it on over night by mistake- not doing many sidequests it was my first rpg)
Second time 60 (Doing most if not all all sidequests)
Third time 31 getting all gf's and beating Omega (not that that's hard)
a couple more times...

Yes, on my first time. That, and doing all sidequests, and collecting all items for ultimate weapons. That in particular took long, because I didn't bother much with carding, or looking for rare cards to modify. Plus I like to talk to EVERYONE......and take my time doing it. No, it doesn't take very long to just level everyone up to level 100 alone.

This time around though, its I'm doing it MUCH quicker. I think my timer is somewhere in the 60's, and I'm on the Ragnarok in the process of completing the card collection by getting all the cards I missed from the CC group, right before I go into Ultimecia's castle. I did ALL sidequests, including getting all GFs and all ultimate weapons.

It took me like 75 hours but that was the 2nd time the 1st time i couldn't beat it b/c my players were too weak to fight Adel

First Time it took me 66 hours and 44 mins. (I know the exact time 'cos I did it this morning! lol) I got all my main group up to Lv. 100 (Squall, Zell, Selfie) It took about 20 hours to get all the major weapons. I got all the GF's exept doomtrain and Tonberry king. I beat Ultima Weapon but I'm currently trying to beat Omega Weapon. (He keeps killing me with LV. 5 death)
