I grew out of my party days(i'm 38) but when I partied in the 80's we wouild go hardcore. Lots of people, heavy metal music, jack daniels and coke, rum, bourbon, the whole nine yards. Nothing like waking up in the middle of the night and seeing bodies laying all over the floor, sofas, etc... LOL! Sometimes I would pass out and wake up at the same party but a whole new group of people! Now, my daughter is almost 12 and now I have to contend with the fact that her days of partying are just a few years away. Ugh.
Oh one bit of advice for all you partiers, don't drink straight rum with Baily's irish Cream chasers! You will be sick as a dog! I woke up the next day drunk and my sister kept talking loud in my ear. It sucked LOL!
It's Friday night and I'm by myself watching bad television and dolefully listening to music that went out of style over a decade ago.
i like techo, lots of flashing lights, glowsticks, and people with ugly fuzzy backpacks that say they love you a lot.

I agree. I'm the same way. Rum, I don't tolerate as well, but most liquors, I'm fine with. There's a lot more that factors in with how well the stomach handles it than the alcohol content.Well, it's fun before you start vomiting, and you have to drink ALOT of it before you get sick.
Also, I don't consider Jack Daniels to be 'one heavy liquor' as you put it. It's a whole hell of a lot 'softer' and easier to drink than most other liquors. I could drink half a bottle of Jack. I have my doubts about my ability to drink half a bottle of rum.
Although the one time I drank a Fifth of Jack (half a bottle? Wuss!) at Ft. McCoy before we went to Iraq. Plus three shots of grain alcohol, plus a shot or two of Southern Comfort and Bicardi Razz, plus a Mike's Hard Cranberry Lemonade. We were on the second floor, and that was the night that I learned that 3rd PLT's steps to their backdoor were directly below and in front of the little balcony thing we had out our back door, so if I needed to throw up in the future, DON'T go straight out the door, turn right first. It sucked having to clean all that up the next morning, when it was ten below. But I did see that same barracks when we demobilized this past March, and to this day, no grass grows around those steps.
EDIT: I went to a "birthday" party the other night, too. The only time I've done something with no memory of it at all. I guess I called an old friend/ex-girlfriend and talked to her for ten minutes, while sitting on the ground and yelling at everybody else. Hadn't drank in quite a while, though.
