I got three things I want to say.
1) The Statement "The US doesn't need help", You can never have too much help... Even with all the military here at home to help I would be willing to guess that there would still be casulties and the like. America is strong, but not invulnerable.
Thus one shouldn't say the US doesn't need it. Rather 3rd world countries don't have the ability to aid the US. That is how it works. Help can never be over done.*
2) The blame game I have nothing against it... it can actually help(by finding the causes... keep in mind the the word "causes" not "cause") and some if not most/all have given something.
3) yes My whole family has given somewhat.. emptied our cuboards of can goods... heh we didn't think ahead and ran out of food after donating, good thing we had some spare cash to go shopping.
