S'almost done.
I've never played it, though it seems to be just one more okay game to me...
No idea lindy, its just..i remember seeing stuff about it being released like at least 3-4 years earlier..like comming soso year...and yet it never did. Lets hope it does like FINALLY..because if it doesnt come this christmas i am going to give up on it.
They made it a touch gun-happy last I heard.
Less stealth and mind powers.
i still play starcraft but usually play wc3 or ff11
Thats not really the point..its ok to make a delay for reasons, but you have to understand that they say it would be out at soso date..and it never was for quite a while....some of my friends think it wont even come out. There is a reason for the skeptism.
Starcraft is such an old game i rather play some CS or wc3 at some lan party or sometimes online.
I still play SC, it really is a fun game. And those people who mass attack with one type of unit are easily beaten, if you know what they are massing with. I don't play as much as I used to, but I'm starting to get back into it. The Use Map Settings game are probably what is keeping SC alive more than anything else. Melee and free for all games are fun some times, but UMS games change all the time.
Here's the thing: would you rather have a half-assed 60 minute movie or a feature-length 90 minute movie with everything fully explained and thought out? Christ, cut Square-Enix a break. Final Fantasy isn't their only project, as much as you want to believe.Originally Posted by Rengori

I read somewhere one of the main reasons it's so popular in Korea is because of the low system requirements and also Korea is a small, compact country so it's easier to network it than a large country like the US. I don't know if it's true or not, I jsut read it a while back somewhere. But, one thing I can tell you is that one of my inlaws has a cheap desktop with just the basic hardware and he plays Starcraft online just fine with no lag.
Most balanced, perfect, and replayable RTS game ever made. And probably my favorite PC game ever. There's really just nothing wrong with it, it's easy to pick up and insane to master. Still easily Blizzard's best game of all time. This needs a sequel MUCH sooner than we need Diablo 3 or Warcraft 4. And yes, Starcraft 2, not a stealth/action shooter for consoles like Ghost or whatever.
