What is your bestest rumour you have heard regarding FFVII. Some that I have read make me want to die in a pool of my own blood. Others just make me laugh so hard childrens heads explode.
Wooden Chocobo
This rumor is weird. Visit Wutai, steal Lord Godo's underwear and run into the nearest forest. Inside you will find the Wooden Chocobo.
There is some really weird ones out there, do your worst!
i heard the bahumut ZERO materia is hidden somewhere at the train station at the beginning of the first mission.
Anything involving Cheese WEAPON
Anything asserting that FFVII is better that FFVI.
When people say that they can get SUPER KoTR which doesn't have just 13 attacks, but 26 attacks and it is obtained by getting 99 hours on the game and at the 99th hour if you go to where you got KoTR you can get the super one. But its only available for 10 seconds after 99 hours. And all your characters must be level 99 and must have all their ultimate weapons and limitbreaks.

The rumor that you are able to access the cave to the upper right in the path by Bone village ( past the Sleeping forest ) was good. Dunno wth was meant to be in there though........
There's the classic one that if you leave the game on for three hundred hours all the people of the world run to the crater and beat up Sephiroth. Also of course there's the unlockable hentai rumors.

Doing *insert super convoluted requirements here*, you can take Aeris to the City of the Ancients in your party.
if you eat moogle pie while ur doing the mog-kupo nut-flying game at the gold saucer for the 50th time, and you have to feed the moogle a kupo nut, his stomach will growl and see that ur eating moogle pie, and he'll jump out the screen, take ur pie, go back in and share it with his lover, mag. then he says, "oh my god... it was called MOOGLE PIE because it was made from MOOGLE LIVER! EWWWWWW!!!!!! and then both mog and mag EXPLODE into chunks of moogle bits. you can take those moogle bits then bring them to the round island and then feed it to the kotr gods and they'll give you the special super-mega-ressurect pie. (not materia) then you can throw the pie into the lil pond that aeris is and she'll smell the dilicious kotr-ness of it and suddenly awaken and then you can chop her up to create aeris pie which you feed to sephiroth right at the very very end battle when you fight him 1v1 and you can give him the aeris pie instead of doing omnislash and he'll call off meteor and everybody becomes friends. hooray.

One of the most ridiculous rumors I've heard is that there's a segment in the game where Cloud goes into a bath with a group of burly, quite possibly homosexual men. One of them having a handlebar mustache.
It's so dumb. What kind of perverted company would include such smut in their video game?

I'm with ThroneofDravaris on this one. I think it was something to do with breeding a White Chocobo and diving into the marsh near the Chocobo Ranch. There you will find a way to get into space and fight Cheese WEAPON.
