Nope, Square said PS2 DOC was started before the PS3 was revealed same withit's technology.

People are saying the same about almost all of Square's unreleased PS2 projects lately. It isnt true.
If you look at any screenshots or watch the trailer for the game, that'll pretty much answer your question--it's undoubtedly a PS2 quality title. That's not to say that it looks bad. It looks very good, but not PS3 calibur.
If you think about it the Graphica limits of the PS2 havent been reached with these type of games yet.
Square's FFXIII And DOC were started when the PS3 was still being made.

i might be a little bit late on replying... so im not sure if this wil help or not..
according to adventchildren.net a scan was found telling that DoC might be released as early as this Dec. in Japan. <3<3
If this is true, then Ps3 wouldnt be the platform, right? >_<

Its release date is for Spring of 2006, so no it isnt out yet.
wtf? If my computer didn't crash I'd give you the site with an announcement saying that it's Jap release was of mid 2005. It was a good site too gargh forget it, just proves that Final Fantasy XII and DOC wont be on PS3.
