I have been hopelessly obsessed with Final Fantasy (not literally but you know what I mean...) for the last 4 years. I played FF9 first but FF8 was the one that hooked me. Since then I have bought and played all of them (except 3). I am now desperate to play Final Fantasy XI but my parents won't let me have internet Access on my ps2 (no matter how many time I tell them that It wont give their computer viruses....stupid adults are so......STUPID!!!) . Is it at all possible to play it without an Internet connection?I AM SOOOO DESPERATE HERE!!!!!

No, there's no way of playing it offline, I would suggest getting it for PC then, the vana'diel collection goes for only like $30 and has the game and both expansion packs on 1 dvd

(Also what virus would you possibly get on ps2?)

No, it is not possible. You must have an internet connection to play FFXI.
