Anyway, I wonder if sometimes you're really embarrased that this place exists. I mean, it's nice having the fanbase, and the internet friends, but do you ever feel especially nerdy having not only participated in a well-known Final Fantasy site but created one?

Yes, this place is embarassing. A great deal of people who know me don't know about this place. It is easier to admit, being in the "indie/emo" scene where nerdiness is proclaimed, not hidden. Still, it is clear that I spent hours upon hours at some point on this place instead of going out and partying or something, so that is embarassing.

Have you ever been in a public place and seen someone on your site (at a library or on campus or something)?

No, I don't think so. I have met people who have used the site as a resource though, and they have it bookmarked or something. That has happened quite a bit.

I wish I had tried harder to go off on my own and find advertising back then, as people were making thousands of dollars back in the good ol days. But back then I didn't know HTML or server admining like I do now, nor did I have the help that I do now.

Cid, I'd like to say that if I had never viewed this site, I would have never been inspired to make my own, although I know it will never be as good as this one. Thanks. And also, I'd like to ask if you have seen the section I've been making for the frontsite, if it looks good enough... it's in the site staff forum. Writing pages here is a lot more fulfilling than making it for my site alone, because I know that everyone can read it. Hardly anyone knows about my site. Just so you know. ^_^
