The United Kingdom has. Although I have always been a fan of the Chilean national anthem after seeing their players patriotically singing it extremely loudly at the 1998 World Cup.
god save the queen is a horrible national anthem. it really is. i liked the soviet one. the internationale. i always find the fact that germany still uses it's national anthem funny as it's conotations. scotlands national anthem i have to say is an absolute dirge and i hate it.

Not a good national anthem? Not a good national anthem! Blimey, don't you realise what it is? It's a song that basically commands God (he works for us) to make sure our sovereign is safe, thusly allowing her to live well beyond normal life expectancy. So for example if the Royal Yacht is caught in the middle of a storm, then some patriotic soul can sing the national anthem and save her. It's utter genius!Originally Posted by Cloud No.9
