    A variety of slowly simmered dinosaur eggs. The DNA combined into some sort of hideous being. God didn't like it and sent in to the sun where it exploded. God decided to eat the cooked being and it turns out it tasted pretty good. He then transformed the dinosaurs responsible into a less ugly looking being and turned all their eggs into this new being. The result is the chicken and chicken eggs.

    So to answer your question BOTH! It happened all at the same time.

    It's obvious that a dancing egg found a pretty dancing egg girl and they had a baby dancing egg, but the dancing egg was a bad dancer, so it fell down and out came a bird or dinosaur or something.

    One day a cave man layed a retarded egg. And a chicken came out. Thec chiken felt out of place when the cave man would beat on him. The hatchling went off to find his family.

    He seached many days, until he found a patch of grass. He poked his head through the gras to reveal a pond filled with... more retarded eggs. So the chicken lived there with the other eggs as the reproduced and made one of the dumbest lines of animals ever. The end.
