Legend of Mana had a great soundtrack, as well as CC, and FF6, and 8 was superb as well. 10 had a few good numbers, scattered in a mangle of poopoo. My favorite, is FF6 though. It was dang good, especially for it's time. It was back in the days of blips and beeps for trumpets, and then FF6 HUGE flute stuff! That's some great flute. Tama2, FF6 is indeed awesome.

Nobuo is the best Composer type I've ever hheard. Koji Kondo is second.

My Favorite has to be the Song of Healing and the Song of Storms from The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask.

Nobuo, to say "the greatest composer type" is going a bit far, but I'd say he is one of the top composer of orchestral themes, and general "fantasy" themes, for lack of a better word. Especially for this kind of game (FF). Playing FF3(6) back in the day is what got me started listening to some classical music. It's just great. But to answer the question, I can't say I have any specific game as my favorite music. But as far as series, I can't think of something I would like more than the music in the FF series. Even the recent games that I hate have great music.

And I had forgotten about the Legend of Mana opening, that song is magnificent. I don't know if it's just me, but it sounds a bit like an extreme remix of the classic mana theme, but with vocals. That song is great, but the movie that goes with it really adds to it.

Nobou IS practically the best videogame composer. He does have tough competition though.

I will forever believe that Akira Yamaoka is the best video game composer out there. I love his music so much; it's perfect. He's part of the reason why I get excited for new Silent Hill games. :<3:

I liked Yuki Kajiuras Xenosaga II but Ive listened to it so much Ive begun to get sick of it. I listen to alot of video game music but right now I cant decide. It changes every few months.

Majora's Mask, Song of healing was a good song. Even if it sounds like Debussy. Seriously, you all should listen to some classical music to know where the music you hear in games came from.
