We get horrible spiders here in Kansas. Especially during or after it rains, usually you'd see about 5 gigantic spiders crawling up the walls or in the corners of the room. The worst part is when my dad puts bug killer in the lawn, so they all try to move inside into my basement. If yo'uve ever seen a wolf spider, we get loads of those. They brownish black, can get as large as a baseball, and somewhat thick and hairy. They're quite friendly though, nonetheless I start freaking out if I see one, then I'm paranoid all night long thinking ones crawling on my shoulder when really it's my hair.
