Aeris' final weapon

Ok, Is aeris' final weapon the Princess guard that you get in the temple of the ancients, or the parasol that you get from speed square in the gold saucer? I have read many online guides and they all have different opinions.

Also, can i get some tips on how to achieve 5,000 points in speed square? it's just too damn difficult!!!

I would think it's the Princess Guard, because that has materia slots (even if it does have materia growth) and a special ability - extra power if Aeris is the alone in battle with the other two being KO'd.

The Parasol is just one of the no-materia, high strength weapons, like Cid's Mop, Cloud's Nail Bat, Tifa's Work Glove, etc.

I wish! Even with a turbo-rapid-fire controller blapping out 3 shots a second I've not been able to get past 2'000 points myself. I just can't move the cursor across the screen fast enough.

I'd really like to see what the Parasol looks like too!

there's a big yellow square in the top left of the screen in the canyon area, i think. pretty sure it gvives like 200 points
the UFO is easier than i thought. just blast away, and never hold down the shoot button, just tap shoot.
there's some kind of a cactus that gives extra points in the canyon too i think.... i don't know, but i don't think i've ever gotten 5000 but i've gotten close.

According to my last earliest save, my high score is 4500 followed by 4325 and 4304. I didn't check all of my saves (and some have been deleted) so I don't know if I have a higher score. From what I can recall, I believe I have passed 5000, but I can't be sure.

how did u do it mercen-x. i have a list of the targets but it doesn't move fast enough!!!

it is doable. you just need to memorize what is on the screen and at any given time and what is best to shoot at. there are lots of high point things to shoot dotted around the place and the ufo isn't hard.
