What's a good way to copy a DVD (movie) without having to convert it to avi?

DVD Decrypter is good at converting the disc to ISO on the HD, at the same time as removing various annoyances like Macrovision, CSS, and region lock. You can then do what you like with that DVD image, for example burn it
