people always (from what I've seen) seem to talk about always having to use GF's- and you don't only very little at the beginning of the game. And you don't even need to then as if you just play cards and you've fought a little (alright using them a little is good) you can junction so that attack does more very, very early into the game. So I have usually utterly stopped using them (except to watch the beautiful graphics) before the first Laguna scene, as the enemies their give you aereo and tornado if you use GF abilities. The problem with doing this is bosses are too weak.
