Well that's a better statement. I'm not proclaiming Bush is a saint. By no means do I agree with him fully but to primarily blame the situation on Bush would be a sad assumption. And that is what it seems pouring out of these 3 threads already discussing this issue one way or another.

They knew one day this would come but once again it's not the president's responsibility to make sure Louisiana is protected against weather. That is why the governer and staff over Louisiana is in place. If not, then what are their jobs?

I agree everyone has played a factor in this incident. But I do not agree that Bush carries the load of this catastrophe.
