    its crazy.
I'm still seeing prices in the $2.80s, here in the southwest part of Fort Worth. Other parts of the city are in the $2.60s still. Nothing more than the $3.10s.

And yes, the free market will work this out eventually. I think the government is cutting through a lot of the red tape that holds up the building of refineries, so within a year and a half or so, when new refineries are built and the old ones are repaired, prices will go down.

Then you're either lying or blind. I was in Ft. Worth less than a week ago and the lowest I saw was $3.22.

What I don't get is why people keep buying it...well actually I do, I just wish they'd see and stop...but no, they won't...and you know what? That's awesome, because while the rest of you are bitching about how high gas is and continuing to buy it I'm laughing at all of you hoping it continues to rise. I hope it's $20.00 a gallon by next month.

Don't try to tell me what I see and don't see. The Conoco on Cleburne road was $2.69, according to what I saw today. The Diamond Shamrock on Altamesa was $2.87 yesterday. Sack & Save, three minutes from where I live, was $2.88 on my way to school this morning.

I'll take it as this post is a joke. Oil makes the world go round, mac, and as much as you would like to know, you wont be laughing at me when gas gets up to $20.00 because you aint gonna make the visit to my house to do that.

And if you do, that's stupid

MONEY makes the world go round. And business. We could easily stop buying the stuff and make our government get their asses in gear. We have the power. What ever happened to the USA? Our heart ideals? What ever happened to people like those responsible for the Boston Tea Party? Why do people just bend over and take what the government shoves up their asses now? Well I won't, thanks. You keep on telling yourself what you are and keep buying your gas, and I'll just laugh harder at you while I continue to not buy it. That (what you're saying and doing), in my opinion, is stupidity my friend.

Oh and KB, if that's the case, you need your head checked. Seriously.

Gas prices have gone down and they can change pretty radically in less than a week's time. It's in the $2.80's and $2.70's here in West Texas, too. So how about taking the word of the people who actually live there, hmm?

And now I kill you all for luring me into this forsaken section of the forum.

*cough*bullsh*t*cough* You can also try http://www.gaspricewatch.com/new/default.asp and search for prices in Ft Worth in the past 8 hours. I'll save you the effort, the two prices updated in the past 8 hours were $2.89 and $2.99.

Right, because we have no idea whatsoever how much gas is in our own towns.

    :rolleyes2
