Major problem with getting vincent...no not the boss

I deafeated the boss, got the key, went downstairs to the basement went in the coffin room.
BUT NOTHING IS HAPPENING!, am i doing something wrong?, because obviously he is supposto come out of the purple coffin right?

You have to talk to him in the coffin a couple times. Tell him about Seph. He goes back to sleep. Talk to him again, he tells you his name. Then just leave. On your way out he joins you.

are you actually examining the coffin with O?

Yeah, you have to "talk" to the coffin, he does not pop out automatically.
