Default GAAH, it became too much!

So, I was collecting magics, rare items and stuff before even heading for Timber, and recently I heard you could get Holy magics from Krysta Cards in the Fire Cavern.
I started looking for them, and five minutes later I was like "why am I doing this?" and then, I turned off the game.
It felt totally POINTLESS to go on with it, there´s NOTHING new further on except for the Lionheart and the Ultima magics, and perhaps those GF:s, but I´m invincible now anyway; causing 9500 DMG to the T-Rexaurs is a warning sign.

But I´m telling you, once you get to the point where you have obtained almost everything attainable, you get tired of it.
There´s no real point to proceed. :rolleyes2

I turned off the damn file and started playing Zelda: Ocarina of Time instead, it was SO much more enjoyable,
and the atmosphere was a MAJOR boost!

    Two words: Card Game.
Play a lot of cards in the very beginning of the game, and start refining.
You can get all kinds of incredible stuff that way.

The ingredients for Squalls second strongest weapon, Punishment:
2 Geezard Cards = 10 Screws (you only need 8)
    1 Tonberry Card = 1 Chef´s Knife
    3 Adamantoise Cards = 1 Turtle Shell
6 Iron Giant Cards = 2 Star Fragments

Just play against Dr. Kadowaki, the cafeteria lady, the running boy etc, and you´ll get the cards in no time.

As for the Blizzaga spell, refine Snow Lion Cards, or level up until the T-Rexaur gives you Firaga, Blizzaga and Quake.

And thus it makes the game boring. As with any other. I always wait untill after ive finished the storyline of the game to get all the extra stuff and boost my strength etc, otherwise theres no challenge and no fun in killing everything in one shot.

The only game I could ever do this kind of "over-leveling" would be FF2 for the NES; going to Mysidia after getting the Canoe feels much more fair, for some reason; perhaps cuz of the annoying Warship and all those "you're-walking-on-plains-with-easy-enemies-but-suddenly-you-find-überstrong-enemies-which-you-have-no-hope-of-defeating-at-all-game-over-HAHA!" scenarios. :rolleyes2
