I personally prefer regular numbers for everyday useThey have the same meaning, and the constant usage of roman numerals seems like trend protocol to me. But that's just me. You?
Roman, as God (game creators) intended
Just shorten the key presses and use numbers

They should start numbering them 一, 二, 三, 四 etc.
I guess it depends on the game or series really and what they're about![]()
why does god intend on roman digits?
Roman digits are sexy. Sex sells games. Roman Numerals! Ceasar dressing sucks though.
I think it is 100% based on the astetic look and feel they are going for. Obviously ages of mythology should have roman numerals, as well as ceasers palace etc.
Bipper
Sexy? I always thought they were dorky as heckThat's the stuff they teach you in grade school. I'm not talking about how game companies title their games, just about how everyday people refer to them.
I always use Roman numbers.
Is there really a thread about this?
Maybe I'm still asleep and having a dream where people actually give a about this. That must be it.
I go with what's official.

It depends on my mood. I never thoroughly learned how to type using the number pad on the right of the keyboard, so I'm always hunting the arabic numerals on top of the letter keys. If I deem it more difficult to hit the correct arabic digit key, then I will use roman numerals, because I actually know where those are.
It all comes down to how lazy I feel. Do I sacrifice a bit of speed and use romans, or do I sacrifice the comfort of turning my neck down and hunting out 1-0 on the keyboard?
To hell with Battletoads and Double Dragon.
THIS is the ultimate team.
I NEVER KNEW WHAT ROMAN NUMBERALS MEANT UNTILL I BOUGHT FF and became a fanatic now iI can go up to 12 YAY

Now, Superbowl 40=XL, which I'm sure most of you have noticed at this point... the letters aren't hard it's difficult with numbers like, 1998... which would be... uhm... MCMXCVIII, which broken down is M=1000, CM=900, XC=90, VIII=8 woo hoo fun!
