    Right, i just bought FFXI, im trying to install it as i write this and the play online viewer is asking for a credit card number whilst offering SOME basic online stuffs free of charge after registration with sed credit card number.

    do i have to pay by credit card to PLAY FFXI???
    Im 17, i dont have one, my dads not gonna let me use his (even though i can afford to pay him baxck for it). Is there anyway around this? or will i be charged at all?

    *EDIT* apologies, i just read the FAQ that i missed on the topic list page and it answered my question. I was all for an online FF, but having to pay AGAIN is pretty steep if you ask me. looks like it woulve been awesome too. *sigh* oh well...
