My computer's been acting screwy, and buttons to insert links and smilies don't work, but I'll give you the URL anyway: http://www.gunstuff.com/america-attacked.html In case anyone forgot what terrorism is, or if you just want to see a good memorial video.

My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.
He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.
the comic B.C., which I usually enjoy, ran the expected september 11th strip today. The little ant asked his father if the numbers 7 and 11 were lucky, and then his dad pointed out the dates 12/7 and 9/11 as being unlucky, and it made me upset, because december 7th is my birthday, and today is the birthday of a friend of mine, and to have your date of birth declared to be an unlucky day, no matter the events beyond your control is not a pleasing thing.
That being said, today is also Grandparents' Day. Go hug your granny and your grandpa.
I completely spaced the date. Im gonna put mny flag at halfmast too, and leave it there for the katrina victims.
<PaperStar> live fast, die young, bad plefs do it well
I did hug my grandparents. And yes, it IS an unlucky day, because something HORRIBLE happened on those days and SO many people died. Yes, people are focusing on not one but TWO disasters today: Hurricane Katrina AND 9/11.
I have said my prayer for the day.
God Bless America, her citizens, her voice, her support. May all the soul's who were lost in the attack of cowardace find peace, and may all the men resoponsable for this recieve thier just punishment.
May the families and friends who have lost, live blessed and bountiful lives. Let thier voices carry on the story, and thier words move ino our hearts, so that we never forget that wretched day. September 11, 2001.
Amen.

Death always leads to more death, as 9/11/01 showed us. The needless slaughter of civillians led to more needless slaughter.
May this day forever stand as a reminder of the futility of revenge and war. Violence will ALWAYS lead to more violence.

I have to disagree with this here. If someone is gonna constantly attack you, do you sit and wait? My religon says to kill enemies with kindness, while other tell people to kill themselves in the name of thier god. Violence is inherant in human nature as seen through out the old testement (several books whice many major religons adopted).needless slaughter.
I see the needless death, and sorrows caused by us sitting back as being far worse. I would never call our plight needless nor would i call it revenge. Iraq prolly woulda happend either way.
Although I do not want to turn thess into another Iraq debate, I just think that calling the outcome of this tragity as beeing needless war deters us from the actual memorial of 9/11. It should not hold as a memorial that war is bad no less than Pearl Harbor should. It should remind us that we are part of the world, and not as safe as we would like to be.

Things like this should make people stop and look at what happened. They should see people dead, never able to be with their loved ones again. And their families never being able to see them again, and the pain they must be feeling.
These events should serve as monuments to the true horrors of war/terrorism. How these things do not discriminate between the innocent, and those who would desire such a thing. Such actions are the foulest of the foul, and until people stop and realize this, it'll keep happening.
