They haven't released anything official that I'm aware off. The rumor was however Camelot was bringing it to 3D on the GameCube. But you know how rumors are.

I'm not sure when the next one is coming out, but given the ending of TLA, I'm fairly sure that there will be another one. You don't end a series with that kind of thing.

I loved the first two Golden Sun games, and I really hope they release another one. There was a rumor that Camelot was working on an RPG with an undisclosed identify. I really hope it's a GameCube or DS game. Whatever it is, as long as you can transfer your stats from TLA, it'll rock; I had every single Djinn.

I bet if they do make a new one it'd be on the DS, that way you could put The Lost Age in the Advance slot and transfer that way. I hope they do have a new game. I wanna know what happened with Alex and then kill him...if he's still alive that is.

I'm not too sure if I'd really like the whole transfer thing, unless once again they were characters that you didn't get until later in the game, because my characters seriously kick butt right now, at such high levels and with the best equipment, I mean I have 4 excaliburs just for the fun of it, 2 i never use.

Golden sun was definitely the best RPG for the GBA, and I'd love to have a new one, and I'm sure Camelot knows this as well, that they have a huge fan base for it. However, I'm not too sure if they'll go with the transfer or not, because then people who didn't have the first, or second, might not be swayed to get the game, because they wouldn't be able to get a lot of the things. Yeah, i'm sure they wouldn't make it necessary to have the old games to get the important things, but like in The Lost Age, you miss out on a lot of good stuff, including the best summon, if you didn't have the original... also some great items, namely the cleric's ring.

Either way, we'll just have to wait and see what happens....

On the contrary, that would make people who wan't to get everithing get the first ones too, which would mean more money for the company. Its already obvious they don't mind ripping people off.

A sequel would be cool, though, its one of the best games for GBA i have played.

I still see both games in all three of the stores I go to to get games: Gamestop, Best Buy, and Fries Electronics.

I'm actually not sure if I want it to be possible to transfere the save stats. With my level 75 party with all the best possible equipment in the game, all djinns and all summons, it would probably be too easy... as long as not random encounters are like Star Magican and Dullahan and all the bosses are like 5 Dullahans or worse.

They could set it up the same way they did in TLA, where you don't get the old stuff until late enough in the game that it doesn't matter. The only problem I have with this idea is that I want the sequel to primarily be about Isaac and Alex.

I wouldn't be surprised if Camelot tried to release a third Golden Sun game, but I'm not sure if I'd like to see it or not. In my opinion, Golden Sun: The Lost Age was way worse than its prequel and I wouldn't like to see the series in a (how should I put it?) "bad moment" (like the Suikoden series, but looks like they're back on track, so let's leave it that way). If they want to make a sequel, fine by me (I'm a GS fan, so I'll probably buy it anyway), but I just hope they won't try to transform a short story into something repetitive and overused.

Ok, for one thing, The Lost Age isn't a transformation of a short story into something long and overused, it's a direct continuation of a plot that is only half completed. Also, since there are plot elements left unexplored after the end of The Lost Age, a sequel wouldn't exactly be a game ruining point, but merely a continuation of the original storyline (and I definitely want to see some of that stuff wrapped up). While your point had some validity, given how well the series has gone thus far, I'm willing to give Camelot the benefit of the doubt until I have some evidence that they've screwed the game into the ground.

As to GS versus TLA, I agree with you that TLA isn't as good, but that's mostly because I don't really like Felix. Isaac was a much better hero.
