I try and avoid dealing with SoSec if I can. I'm rather hoping Bush's opt-out idea goes through, because I'd be first in line to say "screw you guys, I trust my investment strategy to help me better than self-serving politicians in need of some quick cash for a pet project."
We'd have enough social security to support this country's people for the next century, at rate of population growth, if it weren't for the government "borrowing" the money for stuff.
