I think the scene shows that she is still helping Cloud regain himself and guide souls to the lifestream IMO.

i was not really sure about the song when i heard it but....it had more sense with that video.
aerith looks really nice, and that last scene with zacks was totally great...

You're fooling yourself if you think that. First off, there was nothing concrete (no kisses or declarations of love for either pair), and secondly, even if their was rabid fans will always be rabid fans.
It has been shown recently with Harry Potter fans, and even when Half Blood Prince established a few relationships, fans have denied them and continued shipping those people with other people, even when Rowling has said it's delusional and impossible. Some fans have even gone so far as to boycott the series because their ship didnt get together.
The ship wars for FFVII will never end, even if Cloud and Tifa or Cloud and Aerith got married in a 2 hour special. Trust me.

It's the lighting. In the church, there's tons of light streaming through the entrance, to enhance the fact that both Aeris and Zack are dead (kind of a "wishing you well from heaven" thing) and just spirits. The second picture is better 'cause she isn't lighted by a large light out from behind her; she's stuck in a sunny field. ^_^

That was possibly the most beautiful scene in the movie. I (20 year old guy) cried at that part like a little girl.

I thought the game pretty well-stated that she was only into Cloud cause he reminded her of Zack. That doesn't sound like love to me. And I never saw her die in Cloud's arms. He put her to rest, that's all. Not to mention everything that occurred between Tifa and Cloud later on, hints more at something between them instead.

Which brings us back to the theory, that a girl who sells "flowers" in the Midgar slums, really is a pot dealin' ho.
Perhaps it has to do with being an Ancient, being infused with Mako, and being a descendant of Jenova (Loz is, isn't he?).
Whether Cloud and Aeris get together is left up to the gamer, and his affection ratings. Cloud wound up with Tifa at the Gold Saucer, in my playthrough.
No one states that Aeris and Zack get together, blatantly. Although if they did, the fact that Aeris comes on to Cloud is probably because he carries some of Zacks memories, and because of the slight resemblance.

On AerisxZack and CloudxTifa: I think they're all pretty much friends. Personally, from playing the game a sick, unhealthy amount of times throughout the years and after watching the movie, I really don't see how people can think Cloud has any interest in Tifa anymore. He clearly sees her as only a friend. Sure, he liked her as a kid, but if he still felt for her, don't you think something would've happened, sometime? After all the times Tifa tried? But nothing did. He ALWAYS remained aloof to everyone, including Tifa. Even when they were alone, who did he usually talk about? Aeris. Who does he talk about in the ending of FF7? Aeris. Where was he living during AC? Aeris' church. I think that's significant. Now, I don't think he loves Aeris... I think he did have some feelings for her, and they kinda got stuck like that after she died. He became sorta obsessed. I do think Tifa is very dear to him, but I don't think he sees her as a love interest. Tifa pretty obviously has feelings for him, but I just don't see an indication at all that he returns the feelings. Poor Tifa.Now then... I don't think Aeris has feelings for Cloud. I think she acts more like a mother or older sister to him, the whole date thing in the game I think was because he reminded her of Zack, and she was just playing around. Really, I like Tifa a lot, but looking at it objectively... Cloud just doesn't like her in that way. I think people want him to so much they see things that aren't there.
Come on guys what would happen if Tifa had died Cloud would act like crazy?i think that Cloud always thinks about Aeris because he thinks that he is responsible for her death...The movie and the game never explains who cloud is in love with because it doesn't want to desapoint Tifa's or Aeris' fans.
