On a more intelligent note,I think it's stupid now all this aeriesxzack stuff.Just because he was her first bf means crap PEOPLE USUALLY HAVE MORE THAN ONE LOVE IN THERE LIFETIMES,i felt she was meant to be with cloud regardless of the fact she dated zack before.And so what if cloud reminded her of zack? soilder boys were her type everyone has a type and sort of person they go after.I felt the fact she (SPOILER)died in clouds arms meant something symbolic that they were in fact in love and he was her last henceforth love meaning she would of been with him had she (SPOILER)lived

and I think it semi selfish of zack to just assume because they once went out she still loves him

Whether Cloud and Aeris get together is left up to the gamer, and his affection ratings. Cloud wound up with Tifa at the Gold Saucer, in my playthrough.

No one states that Aeris and Zack get together, blatantly. Although if they did, the fact that Aeris comes on to Cloud is probably because he carries some of Zacks memories, and because of the slight resemblance.
