Appleseed was kinda "eh." The plot was stupid, but there were a few cool action scenes. I didn't really like the animation, either.

I saw the original version, I think they remastered it now...but I wasn't too impressed. Mind you, I watched it on the back of watching Perfect Blue so my brain was scrambled and it was 3am. Maybe I'd enjoy it more if I could think straight.
