Sig Preveiw enhancement

I just really don't like oversized sigs so I gotta do what I gotta do.

I would prefer it if everyone could just know how to check the size of their sig, but I know it took me a while and some help to figure it out at first as well.

Like Old Manus said...right click on the image and it will tell you the filesize and dimensions of the image. If you have text in it, you can pretty much judge it in comparison to your image and then add to the pixel height of the image. Or, you can Print Screen and paste into something like Photoshop, crop the entire sig from the white line down to the last bit of text and then check the Image Information. It takes a bit of work, but that's what needs to be done.

Ya know, that could be workable - suppose the 'preview signature' option simply superimposed the sig over a white 250x550 rectange? That way, it'd be nice 'n' easy to tell if the sig was exceeding the size limits. Filesize would still have to be checked manually, but this kind of superimposition would make it convient for people to check width and height. Heck, even an illiterate forum member would be able to see if their sig was too big.
