How much more stronger??

Hey guys I`ve got a problem, I've got Squall and Zells strength to 255 and their still not dealin 9999 worth of damage what am I doin wrong??

as far as i know the only way to get to 9999 damage is by limit breaks and critical hits. ive got my sqall and rinoa at 255 and rinoa does 5000-5500 and sqall if i pull the trigger it does 8000 damage but i think its impossible to make normal attacks 9999 damage.

It has to be really, my Rinoa is only at 104 on her strength but like I said Zell and Squall are on 255, I think it may have something to do with there base str? not sure.

There is no way for the characters to hit for more than 9999 with a single strike. There are only 5 attacks that only hit once that can do more than 9999 damage: Shockwave Pulsar, Kamikaze, Eden, Chocobucle, and Cactuar at level 100. That's all you get, you can't attack for more than 9999 unless you're playing FFX/X-2.

Depends on the enemy's vitality, what you junctioned to your elemental attack. I suppose you can do 9999 damage with strength 255 after using meltdown.

LOL i totally did like 45000 damage once with kamikaze. it was hilarious, it was when i was doing the tonberry sidequest and i got bored hahaha.... so great. squall just ran up to the tonberry and EXPLODED! LOL! this was a long time ago on the computer though.

Which is the point of it being called 'kamikaze'

It would probably be easier if you had 255 str and the base levels, but that's very time consuming to do xD

if you used meltdown attacks wouls still only do about 8000 damage

It's not impossible, my 100lvl Squall hits 9999 almost every time.

It mostly depends on the elements and the vitality of the enemy! I don't mess with that stuff but, focus on one hit KOs! Junction 100 Deaths to each party member's Status Attack and you're a playable Odin!
