How do I know if a DVD player can play NTSC?

I want a portable DVD player for christmas but I want it to play NTSC(aMerican discs) as well as PAL(european ones). How do I find out wether a dvd player will play both regions. And can portable DVD players play more than one region? My christmas is at stake

I have no idea but I suggest doing a search, look up portable DVD players on websites where you may be getting them from and see what it says? I'm sure you could find out =)

turn off the region codes theres a website but it has so many porn links that I'd be kicked off EOFF faster than an ostrich with a bad case of the runs.
