i vote for yay. It's a very marvellous action movie or rather i say, CG movie. but, the movie is too short and make me dissappointed at the end of the movie. overall, i like it. it's a very good movie.

    I know I'm cool...

A big fat YAY for this one. Beeyootiful. Even with such high expectations, I was not disappointed in the least.

I say nay. See my thread on my thoughts on Advent Children for why, and alot of spoilers. I just thought that as someone who focuses alot on plot and storytelling, that the movie lacked. It made so little sense that if you can take your eyes of the admittedly cool animation, and tifa's enhanced rack and actually give some thought to the story, it gets weaker and weaker the more you think about it.

As for spirits within, i loved it. I was so happy when sakaguchi decided not to include ANYTHING related to the games in the film, and just tell a great story, and I wasnt disappointed. But he forgot that this was a genre where the live action street fighter film and Super Mario Bros were actually profitable endeavors. The last twenty minutes of Spirits within just had me emotionally exhausted as everybody dies one at a time with attempts and suicide and foolish attempts at heroism.

I really like this movie, cause it was the first movie I can actually relate to(playing the game and all). I mean like when I watch other movies, I never remember there names or got attached to them. I can only really get attached to the characters if the movie is like a series, like The Matrix, Alien, and Lord of the Rings. But since I played probably over 100 hours of the Final Fantasy 7, it was like overkill(in a good way).
I just wish that the other characters where in it a bit more, but still awesome.

Yeah, I thought I warned him.

No, what you quoted wasn't spoilers if you've seen the trailers. The rest was spoilers.

EDIT: Oh, I think they deleted it.
