Which Ragnarok did you choose?

Which Ragnarok did you choose, the magicite or the sword? I chose the sword because I can get Ultima with the Paladin Shield and I get Illumina later.

The esper, because Morph is the bizwatch, and you can get much better weapons later on in the game. The Ragnarok is just unnecessary in the long run.

Sword, because the Illumina is all you need...
And I get loads of Ribbons/Economizers/Exp.Eggs(Imp Halberd -> Colosseum) fighting Dinosaurs, so I don't need Metamorph.

I took the Esper the first time, but I decided to take the sword the second time round, becasue Ultima really does make things too easy...

Plus Swords that cast spells are cool.

I take the Esper, prettymuch every time. The Paladin Shield is just a pain in the ass to get, and Illumina isn't all it's cracked up to be.

i picked the esper but i couldnt be bothered to do paladin shield but if you get melton ultima is quite unnecasary.
