Hrm.. Upon second viewing, this time with subtitles, I noticed that alot of the added dialogue explains the changes. Only change that really bothers me is when (SPOILER)Tifa wakes up and actually converses with Cloud for a few minutes, completely destroying the point that Tifa doesn't remember him being there. I'm sure they could try and explain it away with amnesia or some crap, but come on.. That was just sloppy.
So.. Not as bad as I had thought. Still wished they would have shown more of the mission, like before Sephy went nuts. Maybe expanded on Cloud trying to hide his identity from Tifa the whole mission, show more stuff between him and his mom, things like that. The thing looks great, but feels a little unfinished. It starts up in the middle of the story and doesn't even have an ending. I would have preferred them end on him meeting Tifa in Midgar.. Possibly show how he's blocked out Zack. As a short, I guess it works. Just feels like an unfinished project that they should have made it into a full anime movie all it's own.
I did like all the scenes with Tseng looking over the reports and having second thoughts. Though, it kinda seems off that the Turks were involved in the first place, as they don't seem to remember Cloud at all in the game. Especially Tseng, if he was really that broken up over it.

Yeah, but Tseng didn't meet with Cloud very often, as most of the time he was doing something slightly more critical (You know, like dying.) He could, however, have said something in the cave, but thats really the only time.Originally Posted by Autumn Rain

-what happened in the Shinra Mansion basement
-Expansion of Sephorith's "nicer" side
on the Tifa thing: yea, I kinda agree on the whole "lengthy" conversation. although one can speculate that she DID in fact suffer from minor amnesia cuz if you see, she's carried unconscience on "master's" (Zang, i believe) back after being rescued from Cloud....so there could have been possible memory loss.

I downloadedit last night and watched it this morning. I thought it was awesome. :D I really do wish they would make more anime shows on FFVII, it would be neat to watch. It does have me wanting to play more FFVII. =/

i think last order as great and what square tried to do was just to was just to link before crisis with ffvii more (as there's not much in common anyway).
i love having zack as a main chara there...you never get to know him that well. i agree on having more on cloud's childhood or his mother ...but i think that they really should have have something on the time cloud and zack were being used as hojo's guinea pigs.
chara designs were great (off course...nomura) as well as the music and the animation
i watched FFVII:LO yesterday,and thought it was amazing. i really love the music, both Tifa's Theme and that one song they play in the beginning when they switch to the Shin'Ra Building. can ne1 tell me who that is that is talking in the building and refering to the "incident" 5 years ago?
and the fight scene's were so bomb!
only bad part was that i had to remember from 190705265 years ago what was going on in FFVII to understand the plot.
