I think that Godo was pretty hard, with only yuffie and he casts cure2 (3?). But i was only level thirty. Other than that, i did read the question but i must say that emerald weapon is harder than the ruby, so much health and damage is not good for poor old cid

Anyways, I used to have heaps of trouble with Demon Gate.

Demon's gate was easy. Death Gigas and just keep healing your party, simple. Now Carry Armour, he was a tough customer

Like I said, Carry Armour is only tough if you go into the fight with any characters on Limit Break, 'cause he opens up with Lapis Laser once, twice or thrice in a row depending on how many have limits. If you don't, then he does nothing, and Bolt 3/Trine/Ramuh piss on him.

And with the right materia setup Godo is easy as pie.

my dad says gaurd scorpion but he is crap. i say ruby weapon because
you do 0 damage to the mean monster until you beat the claws
