i picked the shield and sword and lost the staff
do u know if what u picked in the beginning of the game has any affect later on?

ya thats preety much it, i usually choose shield and ditch the wand( i cant live without second wind). i think i have a listing of them on my site, and if not then just send me an e-mail requesting on(my adress is all over there) and ill keep that in my inbox to remind me to do it when i get some free time

I picked the Wand and lost the Sword.
Although I didn't realize this when I first played the game, more MP = more combos, more cure spells. Plus, for the malificent dragon battle, all I had to do was stand across the courtyard and cast Fire over and over. Boring yes, but a lot easier than dealing with her up close.
They have a reason for Goofy having MP giftI picked the Wand and lost the Sword.

That probably the best combination.
When you get to level 100 like me everything dies in 1-2 hits.
(With exception of bosses.) For my friend things die in 8-10 hits at level 100.
(He took shield and gave up sword.)

i took the staff and ditched the shield. I picked it because it looked cool
I took the sword dissed the staff wouldnt want low defense now would we.
