Squall continues to struggle with his issues. He becomes convinced that Rinoa doesn't love him, leaves her and eventually kills himself - aged 23. Like a true rock star - er, I mean "tragic hero". Ah well - atleast he'll stay beautiful.

He is buried in the Balamb Garden training centre, along with his kick-ass jacket. Hot dogs are served at his funeral by Zell, who is now working at the BG cafeteria, after becoming so fat (on hot dogs) that he can no longer fight. Sadly, a pair of Grats dig up Squall's corpse two days later and eat it.
