although i have the international all of the extras are way harder than the game so i dont bother but its good to know i canactually get to them but your lucky because you dont have dark aeons getting in your way whenever you go anywhere.

not anywhere but a lot of places. dakr aeons are optional superbosses with insanely high stats and the only way i can beat them is with yojimbos zanmato. they do over 20000 damage and have over 1000000 hp and are smurfin impossible.

NTSC,PAL,International I played them all.
And NTSC the worst.
You don't have Full Break(very convinient),Quick Pocket(Overdrive trick) and some others abilities.
And there is no Dark Aeon,no Penance .
You can't get best armors by defeating them anymore.
For example you have to fight Shinryu 30 times to get 60 Wing to Discovery for "Break HP limit" while you can just kill one dark aeon and get more than that.
And my international Jojimbo,he's best friend ,but NTSC Jojimbo though I always give him 10000 gil every battles( 20 battles already) and he never use Zanmato.

hey you dont need to give him that much because all it does is randomizes it so i give him 1 gil and i have gotten zanmato before

Ahhh, i always give Yojimbo 1000 gold, my compatibility with him is very high, he uses Zanmato every 1 to 2 turns *severs off your head*

The best thing about International is Anima.

Yes, but as far as I know Anima was capped at 99,999 Damage, whereas International Anima does however many hits at up to 99,999 Damage.

I beleive so, this one gil thing is a load of though. Since it lowers his effection rating when your a cheap-skate, GREATLY reducing the already incredibly low chances of seeing Zanmato.

correct, anima (in PAL version) does a possible 21*99 999 damage using oblivion i think... that is 2 099 979 damage!!!

i hope this does not turn into another "look at me i am the greatest because i made yojimbo do zanmato for free!!!" thread... i wish the creators of ffx had never included such a cheapskate way to beat hard bosses... seriously, taking the time to beat the optional bosses like dark aeons (which i think add greatly to the gameplay) the hard way is way more satisfying...

yes international version is definately awesomely better and those who dont have it are missing out.

The attack, like all of Yojimbo's moves, is based on a formula. It is not randomized.

The amount you pay does not lower his affection level, it affects his motivation.

Oblivion does 16 hits in the International version for a maximum achievable total of 1,599,984 points of damage although you will never reach that except against fiends with very low defense.
