    Unhappy MIDI Making Freeware Programs

Does anyone know of any good freeware midi making programs? Prefferably ones using real music notes. Thanks

Noteworthy Composer is not freeware, but you can save up to ten times on each file, and otherwise it's not really limited. It takes a while to learn the keyboard shortcuts (otherwise you're clicking all the time) but it's pretty neat.

The trial version of VocalWriter is okay, although it's a 30 day trial i think.
easyBeat is a good mac writer, and it's out on http://www.macility.com/
