Anyone else call Red XIII 'Nanaki'?
Does anyone else refer Red XIII as Nanaki? I've always done so after my first beating of the game, as he's one of my favorite characters and I feel it's proper to refer to him with his real name. Whenever I replay the game, I always name him Nanaki now and forget Red XIII.
well me i just call him red XIII, but i do like nanaki its a cool name.

I stick with Nanaki, it sounds natural and Red XIII is the name Hojo gave him. i hate hojo so i just named him Nanaki.

which ever one that i think of first.which is ussally red xii but i lke naniki better
I'm only on my second playthrough of VII, but I did name him Nanaki this time. It's a much cooler name than Red XIII.
I call him Nanaki and Red, but I never really bother with the "XIII" part.

Similarly, I call frog from CT Glenn. I like calling people by their real names.

I was so pissed off yesterday though. I have two cats, one ginger/red and one tabby. Thinking back, why oh why didn't I call him Nanaki? I'm so stupid =(

And you know why?
Well in greek "Νάνος"(Nanos) means dwarf and a little dwarf is a "Nanaki"
So everytime i say nanaki i usually laugh so i prefere Red XII.
