They are loaded with sugar and fat, which can cause several health problems, such as heart problems, when eaten in excess. So, just like any other junk food, they won't do much damage to you as long as they are eaten only occassionally.
Is almost 4 a day on occasion.
BTW it's supposed to be doughnut, but so many people have done the stupid thing and put donut, so now society recognizes both, even though doughnut is correct.
